all of the handmade lentil beads, i have made this month, have just been experimenting with colours and learning to use my lentil mold

have made a huge effort in the past 2 weeks to try to make something new every few days,the large lentil beads are about 35cms round

2nd batch, when one lot is not enough

this is how the new beads come out of the kiln, still on their mandrels,

i make them one at a time on a minor burner gas and oxy torch,

putting them into a kiln to anneal them for toughness and durability

now i have to take them off the mandrels and clean the bead release out of the holes

before i make them into jewelry
